Last Revision Date: December 1, 2025
Greyhive is a platform where subscribers can support and engage with creators. This updated privacy policy applies to subscribers, creators and all users of our platform, and is part of our Terms of Use.
Greyhive is a global company. By using our platform, you agree that your personal information that you provide directly to us, or that we collect through your use of the platform, may be transferred to and stored in the United States and handled as described in this Policy.
This is information you provide us through text fields, such as name, payment information and benefits. The information we collect differs depending on whether you make an account, become a subscriber or become a creator.
You may also sign up using a Facebook or Google account. We will ask for permission to access basic information from your Facebook or Google account, such as your name, email and profile picture. You can choose to stop sharing that information with us at any time by going to Facebook or Google to remove Greyhive’s access to that account and your ability to log in.
You also have the option to add more information to your public profile, such as a location, social media links and an about section, which we store along with any comments or messages you submit on Greyhive.
A subscriber (student) is someone who joins Greyhive’s membership platform to support a creator’s membership content. As a subscriber you must provide your payment information to our payment processor. Greyhive does not receive your full card number at this time. Our payment processor provides us with a token that represents your account, your card’s expiration date, card type and the last four digits of your card number. If you must provide your name and email address to the payment processor, they will also provide us with that information.
We collect and process information about the creators you support, the level at which you support them, what benefits you receive and how often you support them. As a subscriber, if you select a benefit tier with a physical benefit then you will provide your shipping information, including phone number, so the creator or Greyhive can ship you the benefit or provide updates related to the shipment.
A creator is someone who creates and provides content for their subscribers through Greyhive’s membership platform. To become a creator, you must create a page that describes what you are creating and any benefits you are offering. To receive payouts, you must submit your bank account information to process them. You must also provide us with additional information for tax purposes:
We collect usage information such as device type, operating system, browser, IP address, pages visited, links clicked, referring sites, user interactions and search terms. We also derive your location from your disclosed country, IP address and payment card.
When you post comments or messages, we collect the content, record activity, IP address and last login location. We may use Discord to host forums, in which case their privacy policies apply.
We may ask for demographic information—such as gender, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation and earnings—to improve services and highlight creators. Participation is optional.
At events, we may collect name, email, payment details, phone number, QR code, social media, and survey responses to tailor the experience.
We may collect and store your email, comments and profile info from blog interactions to understand interests.
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies. Please see our Cookie Policy for full details.
We use Facebook Like buttons, Twitter widgets, etc. These may collect your IP address and page visits. Your interactions are governed by the third party’s privacy policy:
Creators receive your name, email, profile info, messages, address (when needed), phone number (when opted in), membership details, and anonymized usage data.
We never sell your data. We share only:
If you link social accounts, we collect follower counts, post counts, and engagement metrics to improve discovery and success tools.
Publicly accessible data includes profiles, public creator support, posts, and aggregated usage metrics.
Update settings by clicking your avatar → Settings.
By agreeing to Terms, you consent to service emails, enhancement notices, and marketing unless you opt out.
You can opt out of marketing emails via links in emails or Settings; allow up to 30 days.
Use Settings to update or delete your account.
Email privacy@greyhive.com with an “Erase” request. This is final.
Use in-email links or app settings to disable notifications; some critical service messages remain.
Requests are verified via your password-protected account; unverified requests may be denied for security.
We comply with GDPR as Data Controller, using legitimate interests, contractual necessity, and user consent. We rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers.
Greyhive, LLC. adheres to the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield frameworks; see Privacy Shield for certification.
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
We continually improve accessibility. Report issues at accessibility@greyhive.com.
